I've no idea! I was at my young, free and single prime then, I didn't watch TV very much! Didn't it start at the same time as Channel 4? I'd like to see it. I watched the last one. Although it was pretty awful by then. I loved the way the last scene was Jimmy Corkhill doing a bit of grafitti on the road sign. He put a 'd' on Brookside Close. Brilliant!

4andnotout · 25/05/2008 21:52

Yes i want to know if i can go shopping or just use everything we have already got from dd3!!

Seems I'm the geek!

Everyone had to move out of Brookside Close because of structual damage or drain problems or summit. Anyway, Jimmy (who's been in it for years) was doing grafitti everywhere and the very last shot was him putting a 'd' on the the street sign, so it read 'Brookside Closed'. He then turned to the camera and winked. Just thought it was a perfect place to end a long running series.
