I was Mning and watching ER but not concentrating and an ambulance just blew up! Who was in it????

Don't know - Pratt and Sam were deciding, and it cut away, then back to see it exploding, so it's either one of those (or possibly neither, but it's ER, so odds are they have maimed/killed a main character).

Is it true that next season is the last ever season?

Bet it is Pratt, what with actually being happy and all. Then Sam can have all the guilty angst, balls things up with Gates, get all miserable again and have another child related disaster for good measure.

I thought the episode was the last one ever, before I looked it up on wikipedia. I can't see how they have any more storylines. I'm only really watching it as it's better to watch at 5am BFing than anything on at the time. Don't get me started on Neela and that plonker Australian kissing...

Yes, the Neela bit was very disappointing.

Re. ambulance, Pratt's half brother was also around, so could have been him that went in and got blasted?

I bet no-one dies and it's a false cliffhanger to make sure people watch the next series. It's so naff compared to the E.R. of the nineties but still better than most British dramas.
