The poor lady whose daughter died :(
so sad

I watched it last night. I thought it was very moving and insightful. I have a friend who battled to get her son sectioned for his own safety, and only succeeded after a year long fight, and did wonder if the mental health services in France are better than here. His son was very honest with him, he obviously had a lot of pain.

I can remember him being on tv a lot and a chef I actually liked, but realizing now his larger than life personality was more to do with self medicating with illegal drugs and his own mental health concerns.
It’s so sad that many celebrities end up depressed when they seem to have it all and also popular.

I watched this last night. I had no idea until I heard him on the radio yesterday that he suffered with this. It was a hard watch at times - the poor mum who lost her daughter was heartbreaking to see - but hopefully it will raise more awareness of the illness. Heston looked beaten down by it all at times.
