Is anyone watching this? Season 11 came out last night and I’d love a thread to discuss this if anyone other unashamed watchers are about? šŸ˜†

I haven’t watched it, but did see a clip on Instagram where Steve was all upset that now that he has a job, he needs to pay child maintenance. He hasn’t paid it for TEN YEARS. What a loser. I don’t know why Amber is always wanting him back, and had two children with him.

AddictedToBooks · 12/06/2025 16:55

Yep, I'm an addict to this show.

Watched it this afternoon when I had a bit of sneaky time to myself.

I'm really glad that Amber seems to be getting some more luck in her life and I think she's doing really well with Brooklyn and Hudson (and Brooklyn especially growing into a really lovely boy).
I can't believe how Ste reacted when she asked him for such a small amount to pay towards the boys, especially when he's paid no maintenance for them at all, ever since Brooklyn was born. I think there's definitely something else going on in Ste's life for him to react so aggressively. I'm sure in a previous season he was boasting about giving the boys £20 a week to buy stuff when he was with them, so I'm not sure what his issue is. I didn't like how he kept saying that Amber only wanted it for stuff in the house - she's been the one who has always been the most down to earth and put her kids before herself and her house out of all the Teen Mums.

I was shocked when Marliya told her own mother, Mia, that her brain was "dead" - I think that's definite copying from what her toxic dad and his equally toxic family say infront of Marliya behind Mia's back.
I'm not a huge fan of Mia, but I felt so sorry for her, seeing the shock and hurt on her face when Marliya said that to her.
I feel sorry for Marliya too because all she's known is the toxicity from Manley towards Mia and vice versa plus she's been brought up to be so image conscious because of Mia being an influencer and you can see that sometimes she doesn't even understand the mean things she says.

Sassi just irritates me - I actually live in the same town as her and have met her in Asda (and she really is as loud and shouty in real life). I just feel so uncomfortable at how quick she is to anger and when she pulls her displeased face, just how nervous Zena'ya looks - I had similar interactions with my mum (who was an angry person and I grew up afraid of her!).
With Sassi, she always seems to blame others and give up things (like the dog she got a few seasons back - no mention was ever made of him again and she definitely doesn't still have him).
I was shocked when she said she was only 26!

I'm hoping that I grow to like Chloe this season - I liked her for the first few but then she seemed to get more demanding and sulky when she didn't get her way and when she was saying she was Jordan's boss, it came across as OTT and egotistical, but in last night's episode, she spoke a lot of sense and she was really sweet with Marley in the scanning room, checking that he was okay.
She does also do things for animal welfare which makes me like her more.

Eeeek, I'm already way too over-invested in this lol.

I'd love a massive show where they do updates on every mum, dad and child who's ever been on the Teen Mums UK as a whole, starting from the era with Megan right up to the one with Angel.

I have a real soft spot for Amber. Whilst I don’t always necessarily agree with choices she makes, I find myself really rooting for her. I think she’s just stuck under the weight of a house that isn’t fit for purpose, two children with challenging behaviours, and little to no family support. I also know the area she lives in well, and it’s not an easy area to live and change your life in. Limited job and education opportunities. I wholeheartedly believe ste is more violate and aggressive than he appears in front of the camera. She seems genuinely frightened of him at times. I do think it’s interesting how different her finances seem to Chloe/Mia though. Makes you wonder if she’s just not had the same social media opportunities they have, or whether there is some smoke and mirrors with how Chloe and Mia portray things.ive seen on instagram she’s got a boyfriend who’s taken her to Italy for her boyfriend and I’m chuffed for her, i think she deserves some happiness.

i find Mia really likeable on the show, and think she handled Marlaya attitude really well, BUT from following her on social media I also think Mia is just clever enough to keep a lot off the show. She’s already got Marlaya living with her new bloke not even a year after she split from the man she told Marlaya they were moving to other side of the country for. She’s also regularly in different countries, different cities partying with friends. I think she’s actually quite selfish, and it was telling when Marlaya mentioned how she is always on her phone because Mia is.

Sassi - agree, her scenes make me feel really uncomfortable and I think her time on the show needs to come to an end.

Chloe - aw can’t help but like Chloe. She’s a bit of a pain sometimes, but credit to her and Jordan they’ve built a lovely life together for Marley. Also love how well their two families seem to get on.

loving having people to talk to about the show 🄰

Absolutely agree that Sassi's time on the show needs to end. Her attitude isn't healthy at all - for anyone. You can see how drained her mum, Toni gets as Sassi gears up to go off on one.

I really hated the scene where Zenaya mentioned her homework and Sassi asked where it was and instantly you could see the anger in Sassi's face and Zenaya looked so nervous and frightened that Sassi was going to blow up at her - I know Sassi went mad about Darren leaving Zenaya's bag at the door and although I don't like him and think he's as bad as Sassi, I can totally understand why he doesn't want to interact with Sassi at all.
She actually lives on the same street as my Aunty and Uncle and she's exactly as she shows herself on screen, but she definitely thinks she's a local celebrity.
She needs serious therapy to deal with her anger but she won't get it because she always thinks that someone else is at fault.

I didn't realise it was back on ,
I think Ste has the boys quite alot maybe three nights a,week ,so he wouldn't be paying Amber all that much in maintenance anyway .

If you have Sky then you should be able to get Paramount+ for free.
If not, MTV have said that they will air it later on this year.

Can't believe there's only 9 comments. It's my guilty pleasure. I am gutted there are only 4 episodes in this season!

Amber - I really feel for her, Ste said in tonight's show he has the boys at the weekend. So she's had them for 5 and he has them for 2 and he's kicking up a fuss about paying some maintenance, I don't know why she doesn't go to CSA. I know lots of people don't because they want to maintain a healthy relationship but I don't see that between them anymore.

Chloe - such a lovely episode with the baby being born, made me a bit emotional! And seeing Marley with him was lovely.

Mia - she tries to do her best but Marliya is definitely grown up beyond her years.

Sassi - agree with what you've all said.

It's a shame becsuse Teen mom has always been my guilty pleasure
I m more fascinated by the American moms though.

Blueberrymuffinsforthewin · 05/07/2025 13:36

That's true, paramount plus is a bit of a strange move, I wonder why MTV didn't want it anymore.

Weirdly I never got in to the American ones.

Watched the first episode of the new series where Chloe is settling with baby Rudy last night.
I used to really dislike Chloe as she used to seem so flaky but since she was heavily pregnant with Rudy, she's really matured and I really like her a lot now.

I feel so sorry for Mia the way that Marliya continues to speak to her with such disrespect. Marliya is such a pretty little girl but she seems to have a really poor attitude and in last night's show, her teacher was ringing Mia because of Marliya's behaviour (talking in class) and when Mia asked her about it, she was so rude and obviously didn't see anything wrong with talking in class - I hate to say it as I could be guilty of a huge injustice, but I also get "mean girl" vibes off Marliya.

Sassi drives me up the wall - always "starting again" and never listening to anyone's advice or point of view. This time she took part in a speed dating event in Manchester and came across as really high maintenance, loud and rude. She shouted over all of the men and openly looked bored and dismissive and sounded and looked like she was interviewing a pile of applicants for a job!
She also believes that THEY should change their ways to accommodate HER because "they should love me as I am" - such an unlikeable trait.

Really glad that Amber has found love and Elliot seems to be good for Brooklyn and Hudson too - they seem so much calmer and happier around him and it's about time that Amber had some happiness.
Hated the way that Ste turned vile as soon as she gave him flowers from the boys because he was feeling down and going through a tough time - instantly picking an argument with her and shouting at her and his temper going from 0-100 in seconds.
Then when he absolutely smashed the flowers (from his own sons) onto the concrete and then instantly tried to gaslight Amber by saying she'd thrown them at him - she hadn't - she'd handed them to him and had begun to close the door because he was screaming at her and she knew it wouldn't stop unless she stopped it.
Can't believe that I ever used to feel sorry for Ste in the earlier seasons.

Loving that it's back - I prefer this one to Teen Mom Next Generation (although I do love Whitney in that one)

I secretly watch Teen Mum Uk too but like others, I can’t watch this season. Good to know it will be on MTV later.

I've been watching it on Amazon Prime for those who don't have Sky.
