Could I watch Death Valley with a 12yo?

I'm looking for a tv series to watch with DD12, something more grown up but not too disturbing or with lots of sex based content. We liked A Man on the Inside with Ted Danson. Would Death Valley on the BBC be suitable? If you've seen it, opinions welcome

Yes it is perfect for that age

I am watching it with my 11 year old and we both love it

Oh definitely - watching it with my 13 and 11 year olds and they’re loving it. Very gentle and silly. Similar vibe to Ludwig, which they also loved.

Definitely. It’s comparable to midsomer murders but with lots of humour

Wonderful! Thank you everyone

At the other end of the scale, I am often to be found of an evening sitting with my elderly mother. She is extremely religious and I would equate the sorts of things that are "acceptable" to her with the level of what's appropriate for a 10 - 12 year old, hehe 🙄😄. (Although I was banned from watching Dr. Who, Grange Hill and Top of the Pops as a child). She loved Ludwig and is also very much enjoying Death Valley.

Father Brown is another particular favourite.

Other recent highlights include Dogs Behaving (Very) Badly on 5 and Pete Wicks For Dog's Sake on U.
