I have just binge watched series 2 !
I love this show , the nostalgia , the music , the clothes , the old style humour and lovely Navin Chowdry is in this series too :)

Not started it yet, but can’t wait to!

Yes, l have watched the whole of series 2. The soundtrack is amazing. I absolutely loved it. I hope it comes back next year!

There's a second season??? Oh my God how did I miss this? Absolutely loved season 1, it was so funny.

I'm sure there was another thread somewhere? First episode a bit underwheming, but getting into its stride now. I haven't binged.

So far, so funny.
I am on episode 5, and this season has a bit of something extra for me.
Also - the hotel scene - definitely looks like the old Britannia Adelphi in Manchester to me. Gave me a few The Shining Vibes…
The soundtrack is a belter, as always.
While Kath and Martin are stuck in the Maisonette of Doom, it’s Diane who
shines in her sort of post-Thatcher era.
Lovely to see Louis Emerick on screen as the dashing Vinnie.
And the old folk’s home cast grab the best one liners.
Easy to watch, a story hook to drag you in (think Thelma & Louise with a useful idiot included!) and attention to detail to the era I really, really appreciate.
Lighthearted and the perfect tonic for when there is a heatwave on, and the world feels like it’s on fire….

Omg this is so good, I just love everyone in it!

Love the writing, the setting, the acting!

Happened to me too. Episode six is being repeated on BBC 2 Friday 3am but looks like it has sign language which i find distracting. Otherwise can catch up on iplayer?

What a fab couple of series. There has to be another………too many loose ends.

I just discovered this and thought it was some comedy recorded in the 2000s but wondered why Sian Gibson looked as old as she did.
Absolutely hilarious. Brilliant writing, Brilliant casting and Brilliant acting.
A bit like the Royle Family how can anyone put so much into a series about a smarmy electrical goods salesman.
