Me and dd love festival season

We watch from home, have lots of mocktails (the occasional iced margarita for mummy 😋) and ice lollies and dance in front of the TV

It starts with the big weekend, which, let's face it, isn't the best of the festivals, but I'll be sat

Looking forward to The Wombats, Mumford and sons, the sugababes, Jordan adetunji and most of all, Sam Fender 🙌

I'm a little jealous too. I WASTED my youth, didn't do anything like the kids at the festival are doing

I had the best time a couple of years ago at the Big Weekend in Dundee. There was really only one or two names I knew but I had so much fun listening to acts I’d never heard of so I’ll be trying to watch as much as I can. DH is a big Biffy fan though and I love Mumford & Sons so will defo be watching those two (DH was working last night so he’ll be watching Biffy later when he’s free).

That sounds so good, Dundee was a good year iirc , I definitely want to take dd to one

I've just discovered inhaler who sound good 🙌

I’d really only gone so I could see 30 Seconds to Mars and I was absolutely gutted that I was standing right up the front when they cancelled at the last second. I did end up absolutely in love with The Snuts thanks to it though so it wasn’t all bad.

DD and I were just listening to Inhaler too. Rather liking them and DD looked them up. The lead singer is Bono’s son.

Loving sam Fender 🙌🙌 the anthem to my lost youth

I was expecting the Inhaler lead guitarist to be wearing a hat! Have just looked them up too and agree they are good. Thank you for introducing me to them.

Loved his documentary about Alan Hull, lead singer of Lindisfarne. Worth a watch.

Inhaler have grown on me. I didn't want to like them because he's a nepo baby, but they are coming out with good stuff. They're poppier than I expected.

We love ed sheeran and the Wombats so I think she enjoyed those 🤭

I love Sam Fender’s voice but I find some of the songs samey so I mix them up. Tbh I do that with The 1975 too and I still loved seeing them in Dundee. 🤣

I’m watching Tom Grennan’s set right now. Another I saw in Dundee and it’s great to see him headlining now and with so many guests joining him! Probably going to watch Tom Odell after this, I do like how iPlayer has it divided up to easily find the acts you’re looking for. DH got to watch the Biffy set before he went to work today too. 😀

I loved Tom Grennan. He has such a good voice.

It was an alright year, not as good as prev ones but I liked the Wombats, ed, sam Fender

DD is gutted that she missed Ed Sheeren. Her queue to get in took so long that he had finished his set by the time they got through.

Just watched Wolf Alice's set on iPlayer, good as always though not sure about their new song yet, and will watch Mumford & Sons later
