Israel literally invaded Syria last year. How is that OK when Russia invading Ukraine isn't?
Wrong.
The Golan Heights were captured by Israel in 1967 after Syrian aggression and annexed in 1981 for security reasons. When Assad’s regime fell last year, Syria subsequently was fragmented among various factions, hence the concept of Syrian sovereignty over the Golan became moot.
Israel did not “invade” Syria. Syria’s central authority had disintegrated, with control divided among rebel groups, militias, and other factions. Against this backdrop, Israel’s actions were a defensive measure to prevent threats from these groups, not an invasion of a sovereign state.
The buffer zone that Israel obtained is purely defensive to prevent hostile entities from operating near its borders. And also, it’s not an “occupation”. It’s a strategy to ensure security against threats from groups exploiting Syria’s current instability…
Twisting facts and pushing lies to defame Israel might be a fun past time for you, but it’s still pointless because there are always informed people around to call you out on your BS.
P.S. look up what is happening to the Druze right now in Syria and how the new transitional government is treating them - sectarian violence, forced conversions, ethic cleansing. Now look at the only people helping them: Israel.
