Although we volunteered to host when Ukraine won and Ryder came second - it could have gone to one of the other top countries who offered to host.

I agree though, I can’t think of a better reason for the consistently poor songs we send.

Denmark are very Eurovision. Don’t dislike it

DH and I have decided that we should send separate entries for England, Wales Scotland and Northern Ireland. With block votes if course.
So far we have come up with the Krankies for Scotland...

My mistake, thought it was the previous year! I will say that I bet the bbc were hoping that a tiktok star from the uk wouldn’t be enough to sway Europe. Sam was and is bloody amazing in every aspect though. He could win over the devil himself.

This is another one that sounds like it’s been ripped off from many prior eurovisions

on the staging - last year they tried with the toilets but the UK just don’t seem to get it. Sam Ryder is the only time the Uk fitted in for a long while
