Stunning film ds and i both in tears for bed Heath ledger amazing

i watched this too last night it was a moving film,both main actors were fantastic it felt very real.
i was crying and dh was snoring!

lol at Candy-me crying and dp snoring too!!!

It was vetoed in my house

Dp wanted to watch India Jones crap

it was good. very watchable.
dh not impressed somehow.

Was looking forward to this as I hadn't seen it before, but utterly spoilt because Heath Ledger reminded me too much of Ted, of Ralph and Ted from the Fast Show .

Very over-rated film, I thought. Just didn't ring at all true.

god I love this film, so passionate and sad, one of film's greatest love stories IMO.

my dh wasn't particularly convinced either although he really likes Heath Ledger and Jake Gyllenhaal, bt I guess not in that way . but he did buy me it on Blu-Ray to watch together

I think it's a beautifully shot and well-acted film which manages to remain faithful to the text. I agree about it being a great love story, sexuality for me didn't enter into it (the 'love' issue that is, sexuality very important in other ways). It makes me ache with sadness just to think about it.
