*Title should say 'Is anyone else enjoying the Eldorado rerun on UTV Channel?
I loved it first time around as could get past all the wooden acting and bad editing 😂, and been enjoying watching it all over again. It was so bad it was good, and the recent rerun has taken me back to a more carefree time in 1992 of being 12 😊.
For any of you who are also watching (or, should I say, admit to watching 😏), here is my tuppence worth on it:
Marcus Tandy was gorgeous in it 😍
Some of the acting really did leave a lot to he desired! Fizz, Dieter, Alan to name a few!
However, there were some great actors too. Trish, Joy, Drew and Gwen, Marcus, and others.
Did anyone else notice Javier's eyeballs always darting about in scenes? I found this very odd. In one scene with Pilar, I thought he was being sleazy the way his eyes were moving up and down when she spoke to him, until someone told me it's something the actor did.
I think it's very sad that so many actors/actresses have now passed away 😪. Obviously the older ones like the lady who played Olive King you'd expect, but Drew actor died at 55, Gwen actress died fairly recently at 79, Dr Fernandez has passed in real life, and both Rosemary and Stanley actors are gone too. However, I believe Freddie and Snowy actors are still with us, and Roland Curram (Freddie) is in his 90s.
Some of the storyline would never work these days (Bunny and Fizz, etc).
