Recently discovered the wonderful Le indagini di Lolita Lobosco series which stars Luca Zingaretti's wife, Luisa Ranieri. It's set in Bari and she stars as a 40 year old police deputy superintendent who is unlucky in love and married to her job. Great characters, excellent double episode length stories with the usual emphasis on food and romance with lots of humour and intrigue thrown in. Showing on Walter Presents.

Hope you like it. There are three seasons to enjoy. We've only watched season 1 so far.

Will definitely have a look. Montalbano is one of my all time favourites. The books are worth reading too.

We have been watching Cold Summer on Walter Presents, also set in Bari around the time of the Falcone murder.
