Just watched the second episode last night. Lots of negative press so far. Has anyone watched it and whats all your thoughts so far?

I am recording it but haven't started watching it yet. I've been put off by the negative press tbh.

Thats fair enough i suppose. I didn’t mind it but you have to really sit and focus on the show. Very easy to get lost if it’s just on in the background.

Have only watched the first episode, TBH it didn't grab me in the way Traitors did. I think because it's ONLY the games and not a lot in the way of seeing them interact with each other, I didn't really find myself rooting for anyone. I don't think I've even remembered their names!

I made it through20 minutes and stopped. I found it dull with too much focus on building intrigue and an under explanation of their strategies. Too many silly coming to an ad break hooks.

The games were so convoluted.

I liked it (have only seen first episode so far). But I’ve watched the South Korean version so I knew it wasn’t going to be like Traitors. You do have to really concentrate on the games though and they can sometimes go on a bit long.

I've stayed with it although I never understand the rules. Think Bhasha's hilarious, she's a former Miss England as well as a medic.

Really thought Charlotte would get the lifeline as she was so persistent.

Is anyone still watching this? I think it’s getting better as you get to know the characters better and it gets more competitive as there are less of them left in the game.

Currently watching Devil's Plan S2 for my fill of extra-long games for supposedly smart cookies. Tempted to see our version, despite David T and other negatives.

Has it been dumbed down significantly for an ITV audience?

Yes still watching. Interesting to see that they have removed the Thursday slot and are spreading the show over a greater number of weeks.

Isn’t the Devil’s Plan a different show? I thought The Genius was the same name for the South Korean show, which i think is the one I saw. I don’t think it’s dumbed down, no, which is probably why the reviews aren’t great.

I’m really rooting for Allison, she is awesome. Ben can go now though. He’s fine with with the strategy of picking on one person to go when it’s not him, but thinks it’s unfair when he thinks he is in danger.

Did anyone else here make it to the end of this? I mostly enjoyed it, and I was pleased with the final two contestants, but I was a bit disappointed in the finale. Because it was best of three and I realised there wasn't enough time for the third game it was obvious who had won, which spoilt it for me a bit.

Also, what was the point of the garnets in the end? In the beginning it looked like they were going to give some sort of strategic advantage, but they were barely used and all just ended up in the winners pot so it didn't really seem to matter who had won more through the individual games.

I'd like to see them refine the format and bring it back for a second series, but sadly I think we're only going to get this one.

Yes, I watched all the way through and was enjoying i. But, same as you, I realised what the outcome was going to be. I figured it out at the end of the first game because I felt like the ad breaks were longer, and there was a very early ad break, so I guessed they were trying to fill in time.

I'd watch a second series though.

The garnets did give Ken a slight advantage in the final. He got the last advantage token after the other players had chosen who to givevthe tokens to. And he got to decide whether to go first or second in the first game.

I haven’t watched the last one yet. I just watched Devil’s Plan Season 2 on Netflix and it is so much more exciting, though I did have to skip through some of the games as the rules were so complicated.

I enjoyed the whole series although found it odd during the penultimate episode that Bex was allowed to hang around despite being eliminated!

I was cringing a bit when she was tailing around after them!
