Life, with minimum term of fifteen years. Must admit, surprised he got life as no murder had been committed (although pleased he got a long sentance). His defence was it was a fantasy . He’s appealing the judgement.

It wasn’t the best made programme. There was only a reference to his previous convictions but no description of these or the women who were threatened by him and forced off trains, nor the very young girls he tied up in storeroom.

British police were informed by American ( FBI I think) undercover agent who “ participated “ in the chat room to gather intelligence. He didn’t know who HW was but as there was a threat to kill it was checked out and info sent on to UK police.
