Things I’ve watched and enjoyed…
Breaking bad
Happy valley
The responder
Trigger point
The Bay
This city is ours
Kin

Any other suggestions? Got sky/apple/netflix. Watching Mobland at the moment but would like some others lined up.

Another vote for Grace.
Note sure why I've never seen it before but really enjoying it.

Agree about Mare of Eastown and Unbelievable. Also The Dropout and Dopesick (on Disney+ or Apple I think).

TurtlesDoNotPetsMake · 18/04/2025 22:44

Better call Saul. Best thing I ever watched.

MrsSkylerWhite · 18/04/2025 22:45

Fargo
Game of Thrones
Walking Dead

That’ll keep you going for a wee while 😁

Imuptoolate · 18/04/2025 23:01

Unforgotten is really really good, not a single bad episode/series imo and up your street looking at the other shows you've mentioned.

Another Dexter fan here too, although you have to be committed, it’s a long series if you want to watch all of it. I’ve watched all of it twice, love it!

Prison Break is a bit of a different vibe but first two series are very good and keep you hooked every episode.

MrsSkylerWhite · 18/04/2025 23:03

River, too. Nicola Walker is fabulous.

The Split - drama about family run divorce lawyers with a matriarch and three sisters/daughters x

If you fancy something out of the ordinary, the Netflix three part series about the Millennium Diamond Heist is so much more engaging than I expected.

on iPlayer is refreshing and funny in ways I wasn’t expecting. A debt collecting drug dealer congratulating one of his junkies’ kids on her spelling test and a hen channelling the spirit of their mum were a couple of the funny and somehow charming moments so far.

I’m assuming you’ve come across all the major series. Poker Face was great and is about to have a new series, if you missed it last year.
