Best Disney Documentaries?

TimeForABreak4 · 18/04/2025 08:36

I've been paying for Disney for so many years for the kids and never used it. I never realised there was so many Documentaries on it.

This week I seen a recommendation for The Beauty Queen Killer and Scamanda, which I've watched and enjoyed. Have also watched the Stolen Girl.

Can anyone recommend their favourite, jaw dropping/shocking Documentaries they have watched on there please. I've got lots of free time this easter weekend and intend to use it wisely!

Not a shocking one, but On Pointe is a Disney documentary about the American ballet school in NYC-really great watch!

I watched Rivals and Dying for Sex. Both very good in different ways. But neither are documentaries.

Thanks both of you, happy to watch Non Documentaries if they don't have terrible acting. I've not watched much TV this year, excluding any decent documentaries that came out on Netflix, until I found Disney this last week. So feel a good TV binge is in order

Only Murders In The Building on Disney is great. Not a documentary at all but definitely good for a TV binge day

The Beatles doc on there (the Peter Jackson one) is amazing. Not a shock doc or anything though, just captivating!

Loved the Coleen Rooney Wagatha one.

@AmIAloneInThinking ,

I just signed up again only to watch this and it's not coming up in search! Are you outside of the UK, just wondering if it's not available here.

Just searched and it’s no longer there so my apologies!! Apparently they took it off the platform in 2023 and it doesn’t seem to be available anywhere else ☹️

Candy, with Jessica Biel, based on a true crime that happened is pretty good. Also, second only murders in the building. Four series to binge. There is a drama about Natalia Grace, think it's called good American family that i quite fancy. I have watched documentaries about her, but not the drama.
