Just binged this series, all available on iPlayer. I live where it was filmed, so mainly put it on to location spot, but honestly, it blew me away. Yes it's a thriller, and a whydunnit, but the relationships between the characters drive this, along with the dual language BSL and spoken English. So many injustices for the central Deaf character, made me think.
Also watched the 'making of' which showed how 2 actors had to learn BSL to act in the show, and how the crew had many personnel from the deaf community.

Anyone else watched it?

Yes I just finished - episodes 2-4 in one sitting. I found it utterly gripping and beautifully acted.

The scenery was stunning - I’m guessing the Peaks?

Yes, some of it was peaks, one shot of father and daughter driving was over Winnats Pass (but towards when it should have been away from Sheffield).

I agree, beautifully acted. I found the way the daughter's BSL fluency came back so lovely to watch, and the way the bereaved wife began to sign in anger to her new partner.

I use Makaton a bit, which uses BSL signs but signing key meaning....I was trying to understand some of the signing as I was watching but BSL has it's own grammar and syntax, and my vocab is pretty basic
