What TV shows / films show off Liverpool?
We've just finished This City is Ours, which we enjoyed, but there wasn't much of the city in it really.
As background, DS gets to choose where to go on a work placement for a couple of months, and it can be pretty much any big city. He mentioned last night (when watching the end of TCIO) that he quite fancied Liverpool. Now I lived there briefly a couple of decades ago, and sometimes visit for work, and I'd love to visit him there too! I also think the city would suit him personality-wise and he'd enjoy it... So something we can watch which might give him a gentle nudge would be grand (and also atm he has too much choice; he'll feel better when he's chosen somewhere and can start planning I think!)
