We've been watching some, yes.

I quite like them and there can be some surprises too. Recently they showed one about a lady who had originally been going to buy in Estepona (Costa del Sol) but when they finally caught up with her she had actually bought some 300 miles away in Murcia (I think), on/near a golf course.

When watching A Place In The Sun I did wonder sometimes if it all worked out and were the couples still together.
In season 1 of the catch up series, one participant had lost her partner.
They had searched and bought the place together.
Sadly he had died.
But she had met someone new and remained in the home which they had bought because of the programme.
Last night’s episode featured a couple buying in Portugal some years back.
Sadly they had split up the previous year, the wife was very sad about that but the she planned to remain in her Portuguese home.
