Steve, Steve was an ultimately a good guy (even if he did cheat) and they got each other.

My answer is Steve. (Also pretend that AJLT doesn't exist, load of rubbish that it was).

Robert was lovely I agree.... until he was a complete arsehole when things didn't go his way! Steve was definitely the right person for her.

He’s not my favourite, but in the context of the show it totally makes sense she ends up with Steve. The bit when she’s helping Mrs Brady bathe and Magda says “You love.” sets me off every time. That is love, in all its inconvenient, messy glory.
That aside, I vote for sexy gym guy who she turns off by being too full of her self. “I love my job, I love my friends, and I love meeting new people” 🫦😬

There was a really well done scene in AJLT when Steve helped rescue Big’s wedding ring from a sink drain for Carrie. It subtly demonstrated years of shared history and genuine affection between them.
