Severance: how much is one episode worth?

I have a dilemma (not really). I have had a 3 month Apple TV free trial and we’ve powered through several series, mostly beginning with S - Silo, Slow Horses, Severance. The free trial is due to end next Monday and I’ve failed to persuade the rest of the family that we should keep Apple and ditch Netflix (which is increasing its prices yet again). The last episode of Severance Season 2 drops next Friday so I have to decide: is that single episode worth £8.99?

No. Just wait a while and then watch a load together when they next do an offer.

on a related but separate note every episode of severance cost many many millions to make. I could easily have hired an office block and made the lot for about £10k I reckon

Also got the free three months TV. Have watched all of Slow Horses, brilliant, but couldn't finish the first episode of Severance, just couldn't get into it. When our free period comes to an end I wonder if you can just take out the odd month's subscription, like you can with Netflix.

@FizzingAdaI believe so. Maybe I'll just need to hide from social media to avoid spoilers and wait until the next season of Slow Horses is on there!

Its took us three episodes. We started and abandoned it twice.

The last episode was shite

Glad we gave up on it then!

No, don’t bother - series 2 has been shite

I think the first series was better than the second but the second has had good bits. The Patricia Arquette episode was an hour that could have been covered in five minutes of TV

I've just watched the latest one and so confused! DP said he gave up 2 episodes to go but with two remaining episodes I'm committed to see season 2 out now.

I couldn't miss it, but I absolutely love Severance. And you might find out what happens in the last episode from spoilers on the Internet if you leave it. Could you pay for another month and squeeze in another series or two to get your money's worth?

Dark Matter is pretty good if you're into sci fi. A lot of people really loved the comedy Ted Lasso, and I found it funny although I'm not into football, great characters and acting. If you like musicals the comedy 'Schmigadoon' is great - a couple get trapped in a world where everyone sings and acts like stereotypical characters from musicals, beginning in the Rogers and Hammerstein era.

Then there's Apple original films, like The Gorge and Napoleon and Blitz, which have also been on in the cinema within the last year or so.

Yes you only have to have it one month at a time, so you're free to drop in and out. In fact, unlike Prime and Disney, I'm not sure if there's even the option for a discount by paying 12 months in advance.
