Anybody else low key excited to see chess in the spotlight? Hopefully that will increase its popularity in the country and we will have more people interested, more clubs (esp for children) as it's a lovely way to socialise and unwind, but also stretch yourself.
I am puzzled by the casting decision to bring in Anthony from Traitors though. It's a brand new show, they could've started fresh and picked any chess coach that would've loved the opportunity. Not sure why they went for the unpopular, defensive guy who was on TV for five mins. What were they thinking...
