This Morning - Were has Philip been??

I did not manage to catch all of the beginning but I heard Philip say that "its not been the best of fortnights"
Does any one know whats happened?

I think his father died

Oh no that is sad.
I thought that he had been on holiday but couldnt understand why he looked so pale
I stopped watching when he was away - the replacements were awful

He was looking after his Father while he was ill and I think he has now passed away

I remember his father from when they did the 25 year tribute to Phillip he came across as lovely.

I know I remember too it is very sad

Oh dear. I knew his dad had been ill but hadn't realised he had died.
