Can't find a thread on this but I'm really enjoying the latest series - its way better than #2! So much closer to the storyline and they've got classic Reacher fight scenes where he downs someone with one blow instead of fannying about with clearly polystyrene breeze blocks!! I saw an interview with Alan Ritchson where he said he was very unhappy with s2 and had much more input with this one.

Anyone else enjoying it?

I LOVE it! But I also enjoyed series 2… and all the books … and (whisper it) the Tom Cruise films! 😆

It's entertaining and Ritchson is perfect as Reacher, but the storyline is preposterous. You really have to suspend disbelief (but I suppose the same is true of the books as well?)

I find the actress playing the female cop (Duffy??) annoying. That accent is beyond awful. It's so bad it's distracting!

I'm loving it. I think Duffy was Joes wife in Vera😄

It's that terrible accent that I find annoying. Just let the actress speak in a neutral voice.

And OMG - Anthony Michael Hall has aged so much! I haven't seen him in anything in years so it was a bit of a shock!

I'm eqyally loving and hating the one episide at a time thing.

Massive (it would seem) plot hole with Reacher giving his real name to Beck and given that Quinn knows his name and who he is it’s hard to believe that Quinn hasn’t asked and checked up on Becks new head of security. Of course he could genuinely have amnesia…but heck of a risk to take.
oh wait its not real.

I'm really enjoying season 3. The only thing that I have found strange is that Reacher can drive in this series. He didn't own a car or have a
driving licence in the original books?

So the DEA kid is dead (never saw that coming🤔). I think, given how much of a mess she is in, by the time this ends Duffy will dead, no doubt by heroic sacrifice to save Teresa (and/or Reacher).

Also is there a chance that the boss isn’t actually Quinn after all?

so they are running guns not drugs - who would have thunk it (Beck with an office lined with guns 🙄)

What did everyone think of the series overall?? I thought it started great, got crap and then improved but not to the greatness of the earlier episodes!

I thought it started well and then dragged on for too long. A bit flat and not much tension.

I enjoyed it. The final episode was great.

Me and DH binged and enjoyed it. DH has read the books and was appalled at the Tom Cruise casting in the films but thinks this casting is much more like it.

I personally enjoyed the shots of Reacher in his pants, but that's because I'm a trollop 😂😂😂
