"Going For Gold" host Henry Kelly has died

Just after popping up on my screen that the "Going For Gold" host, Henry Kelly has passed away.

He was 78.

I remember the poppy intro tune for Going for Gold and that it really was the first (and possibly only) really European quiz show. People from all over Europe competed on it.

May he rest in peace.

Oh how sad. He was one of the good guys from what I remember

Met him once many years ago ....nice chap!

Loved this man and he was a huge part of my childhood. So sad, RIP
