We’ve run out of things for the whole family to watch. What can you recommend?
We all liked (to varying degrees)
B99
The Office (US)
Community
Taskmaster
Outnumbered
Modern Family
Ted Lasso
Ghosts

Some of us dislike
Animated comedy (Family Guy etc)
anything with a laughter track (!)
Friends

Loved by some (not the 12 year old)
30 Rock
Parks and Rec
the Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt
Derry Girls
Misfits
Monty Python (everything)
Blackadder (even with laughter track)

Film recommendations would also be great.
Thanks

Ah! Forgot to say. DD is autistic and will not watch them! DS loves them!

Black Books, IT Crowd, Father Ted, Fawlty Towers, Green Wing

parrotonmyshoulder · 21/02/2025 19:31

All of which I love. DD couldn’t handle Father Ted (maybe hasn’t aged well) but she loved the others. Although we haven’t tried Green Wing. They both loved Friday Night Dinner so Mark Heap might tempt them.

If you have Apple TV, Shrinking is really good.

They list it as a 15, probably because of the language, so depends what your feelings on swearing are for your younger child.
