Yes, I'm a cheapskate Grin
I want to watch the new White Lotus but Now is only offering me 6 months at £6.99 a month. I think they could do better. Does anyone know of any current cheap deals?

I was hoping to find a 7 day free trial so I can watch White Lotus. I can't see a trial deal anywhere.

For the previous series I had Sky but ditched it last year.

I pay £3.99 for nowtv
Every 6 months they change to 9.99, I cancel the plan and they offer me another 6 months at 3.99
It's been 5 years

I had the same thing going (think it was even cheaper actually, £2.99 maybe), but at some point it lapsed for some reason and now I'm out of the loop for doing that Sad

Are all the White Lotus eps dropping in one go?

westisbest1982 · 20/02/2025 16:53

I've been on and off with them for four years, currently on at £5.99 per month. That's a good price, but just like last year when I signed up again, they only offered me a six month minimum deal. They've stopped doing free trials.

And no @OntheTrainX The White Lotus is being shown weekly - it's never been dropped in one go.

I dropped Now one year ago as couldn’t get a good deal, £7/month to only stream on one device was too much to justify.

Check the offers section of your account if you haven't already.

If your subscription lapsed recently I would just wait a week or two and they should send you a better offer.

Are you locked into the £6.99 a month offer for the whole six months? If not, and you can cancel at any time, then you could just pay that for the first month then go through the cancellation process until they offer you a low enough price.

I'm paying £4.99 a month currently.

It lapsed ages ago and I hadn't tried to reactivate it since. I think that's why I've dropped out of the cycle of 'try to cancel/they make me an offer/sign up again/try to cancel'.
Looks like you can cancel any time. I might do as you suggest and cancel after a month.

I mean, £6.99 a month is not a bad deal really. As well as WL, I still need to watch My Brilliant Friend, The Day of the Jackal, The Penguin, Mary & George, and I even quite like Elsbeth, so help me God... It's good value for money for a square-eyed loser with no life like me Grin

You still have an account so log in and see what they have for you. You could be offered what I'm on (£5.99 - renewed two months ago). I do think it's worth it for the general quality of the shows. Hacks is a great if you're into comedies.

I don't think they do the cancel anytime thing now, though.

No offers in sight in my account. It definitely says cancel any time on the £6.99 deal though.
