Modern Life is Goodish - age suitability?

I quite like Dave Gorman, and I think my son would find it hilarious. He enjoys clever humour. He is 12, is it suitable? I can't remember if he includes adult stuff.
Also, any other recommendations would be great, he likes Mark Rober on YouTube, and Matt Parker, and the author Randell Munroe, who writes about funny physics and chemistry based shenanigans.

I think 12 would be okay. I'm trying to remember past series but apart from one sketch about dogging, can't recall anything particularly dodgy.

It's cheeky rather than sexual in my experience. Give it a go.

I was wondering exactly the same recently - my DS is 12 too!

I know there was the episode about 'sex porn' where they found the dirty magazines left by a previous resident of the house and had to find a way to dispose of them. That got a bit 'adult', as you'd expect from the subject matter.

Dave is absolutely not a sweary comedian, but he does very occasionally say a 'strong' word to emphasise an extreme point.

All in all, from memory - and I'm thinking that I want to re-watch the old series myself, as well as enjoy the new one, I think 12 is probably fine.

The thing I find most of an 'issue' is the fact that he's uploaded the old ones on YouTube with a 'Gorm hub' logo in the corner, in the same style and colours as the pornographic website logo. I know he's done it as an ironic joke, but I wish he hadn't.

Our kids were tweens/early teens when we let them watch it. We just skipped the dogging episode!

It’s a decent introduction to thinking critically about and analysing media as well as being funny.

Yes cheeky rather than overtly rude is how I would describe it 🙂

We absolutely love Dave Gorman. He's so clever. Not just random ranting. Years and years on we still give each other a look if we hear anyone say "from the get go" 😀

My son watched it with me from around that age, I think. We also went to see him live when DS was a bit older. We loved his humour.
