Just watched this and I loved it! Reese Witherspoon and Will Ferrell are such great comic actors. Amusing script and some funny slapstick. It's worth watching just for the scene with with the alligator!

I also thought it was good!

I wouldn't day I loved it but do agree that Will Ferrel and Reese Witherspoon were excellent.

Really? We switched it off about 30 minutes in because we thought it was awful!

That's sensible - why watch something if you're not enjoying it? You might like to fast forward to the scene with the alligator on the bed though - maybe it's just me but it tickled my funny bone!

Was very disappointed in this. Read a good review - which may have been the problem so had high expectations - that said it was highly stacked with very funny jokes - great script. It really wasn't.

Thought it was a bad film. The trope of the Gen Z bride (go bitch etc) was embarrasingly bad. I mean so bad that if it was any other group of people targetted in that way it would have been regarded as offensive.

The chemistry between the father of the bride and the sister of the other bride was none existent - and the 'he/she's been obsessing about you all weekend' - no they hadn't, they were just obessed with each wedding going ok/not being ruined.

The only funny bit in the whole thing was the end montage of the father doing his 'he likes you' smile which was funny because it was ridiculous. I agree that the alligator scene was funny. Otherwise it was pretty dire and most of it was really annoying.

Very disappointing. I'd avoid it. If you want a film like this, there are much better ones in this type of wedding comedy genre.

I thought it was light and frothy and fun. Enjoyed it.

I enjoyed it but I hope Reese stops with the work now. She’s had very good work done and hopefully she won’t mess around anymore. I liked all the actors in it, and thought it was very easy going.

This was one of the worst films I've ever seen (and I'm usually a sucker for J.Lo type rom coms) I don't understand how Reese Witherspoon signs up for this crap when she's been doing decent stuff for years.

I watched it because it had a great review in the Times. I hated it, it started well but went downhill once they reached the island.

I watched it on a long train journey stuck with it hoping it would get better. If I'd been at home I would have wandered off half way through.

It had a great cast and some good lines but I found it meandering, inconsistent and contrived.

On the plus side I would definitely watch Is it Dead if it ever gets a UK series and I enjoyed the end credits.

I enjoyed it , it was easy watching and laugh out loud in places. The father daughter dance was cringy but funny.

But there was no chemistry between Margo and Jim . I was really disappointed with the forced Romance at the end.

Reece Witherspoon looks amazing a good ten years younger than her age, although there's only 10 years between her and will Ferrell they just looked wrong together. .
