Is Seinfeld a good show now?

I tried watching three episodes but didn't enjoy them. I'm a huge Curb Your Enthusiasm and Larry David fan so I really wanted to love it. I might be a bit young for the references? (Mid 20's). Is it worth persevering with?

I love Seinfeld and although some of the references are dated, still think it's brilliant. I love Curb as well.

I have DVD and the means to play it. I think I shall try watching some. The DH and I were visiting a uni in Australia in the 90s. Seinfeld was on every day in the early evening. I really liked it then, some very good comic talents. The place they filmbthe diner is a real place way up on the Upper West side of the park in NYC.

It has it's moments.

I love it. It's my 'go to' comfort TV. However, it is dated at times which means coming to it new might mean it's not as appreciated!

I've loved it for over 20 years.

I used to fall asleep to it, love the show

It's really held up over the years

Serenity now!

The airing of grievances during festivus in season 9 is very funny

Seinfeld is excellent

I never understand the complaints about things being dated, does no one watch I love Lucy or Laurel and Hardy or Phil Silvers etc etc

Serenity now, insanity later......

I'd highly recommend Michael Richard's autobiography. Lots of Seinfeld insights

Seinfeld is amazing, but I do think it takes quite a lot of episodes before you start to really feel the love. It's a bit like Schitts Creek in that respect.

My 17 year old also loves it so I don't think the dated references matter THAT much.

I love Curb. Seinfeld, I could never get into, and I'm an age that watched it when it first came out.

Excellent show. The more you watch it the more you love the characters and the jokes make much more sense.

My kids all loved Seinfeld so I perforce saw a lot of it. I never warmed to it but I suppose for those who like that sort of thing, that is the sort of thing they like, as Miss Jean Brodie so memorably said.
