Has anyone else watched this? It's based on a true double murder story.

I was totally gripped by it and ended up binge-watching. It's the best drama I've seen in a long time and I highly recommend it to anyone who is interested in criminal investigations.

I did the other day! I’m Swedish so familiar with the case - they’ve taken a good few liberties but it’s reasonably accurate. However since they’ve changed so much it’s more of a drama, and in my opinion it’s not that good for a drama. But it’s such a tragic case. It was an enormous relief when it was solved.

Is it changed a lot from the novel it's adapted from (which was based on the true crime)? Or is it much like the book?

Haven’t read the book so don’t know. I just noticed they changed the names and some other circumstances. I just felt the characters (apart from the victims) weren’t very well-rounded so in that respect it was lacking.

If you get a chance you might be interested in the dramatisations of the Knutby murders from 2004. A small community had a Pentecostal church that went completely off the rails and became a destructive cult resulting in two murders. The kind of story you think is too far fetched for reality! I don’t know if they’ve been shown abroad though.

Yes it was really good. The fact it was based on a true story and the techniques they used were fascinating.

Really enjoyed this. Thanks for the recommendation
