Fatima annoys me too but it might be her acting. Someone needs to tell her that simply screwing your face up isn’t the same as portraying emotions.

I think they might have chipped Dale out of the wall and buried him properly rather than just bricking him up 🤔

LOVE Jade, although loved him for ages even when it was unpopular opinion 😂.

Boyd is getting my back up a bit this season. He seemed unnecessarily harsh on that poor cop who reacted how anyone with a gun would IMO.

Had to cover my eyes for the torture scenes and rely on my daughters audio description

Can’t stand the new cop. Seems like Julie is a time traveller and can pop up wherever at certain points. Interesting that she threw the rope down for Boyd.

What everyone hates about the new cop

She’s got an awful attitude. She’s angry and belligerent. She shot a friend of everyone’s and just can’t grasp why she might not be popular so she’s also
got no empathy. She’d be a terrible cop.

I see it the complete opposite. She has been remorseful about the shooting. She was facing something completely unknown and unbelievable and reacted in a manner that any other person also would, only difference was that as a cop she had a gun. She had absolutely no way of knowing who was a human and who wasn’t in those circumstances.

I dunno. I think people expected her just to accept being told there’s supernatural killing monsters that only come out at night when none of them believed it when they were first old, who would? 🤷‍♀️

I was a bit disappointed actually, hoping we’d have some more answers but don’t feel we really got anywhere this season?

I don’t think Jim is really dead, found that whole scene a bit strange and random?

Also “smiley” being back, he is obviously a big part of the “story” whatever that may be.

I was a bit disappointed with this season tbh, I didn't feel like much happened. I kind of felt like the writers were trying to slow things down and not progress too quickly, whether it's because they didn't know exactly where to go or just to drag it out for more seasons, I don't know.

I have read they had a five season arc planned, which I hope is true as I hate it when series keep going too long and it ruins the chance of a rounded story because they have to drag it out. Looking at you Lost, which is by much of the same team.

So Tabitha and Jade used to be a couple and had a Daughter?

Well their past lives selves did. The original Tabitha and Jade before they became Miranda, and whoever and then Tabitha and Jade.

Jim will definitely be back unfortunately. Julie time travelled to will do it again and save him.

Boyd drove me nuts.
Fatima has always bored me senseless. Gutted she lived. Why couldn't she have just died.

But OMG. What a season. It was the best. I flippin loved it.

I hope Jim won't be back, I think a series needs to be willing to kill off main characters to keep a sense of peril.

Is Elgin dead?

I think the reason I didn’t like it as much this season is because we didn’t see much of the monsters, it was a lot of talking, trying to work things out, etc.

Also not sure about the new police officer, all she seems to be doing is irritating Boyd who is already pretty riled up.

I really wish I enjoyed it more, will stay hopeful for season 4.

I thought although Julie could time travel/wander whatever they called it she couldn't change what happened? Which is why the man in yellow got Jim? Surely they can't bring him back now?

Also. Did I imagine this on in the pilot did the granny character fly outside the window?

Oh thank goodness I've found this thread. Just finished season 3 and I'm a bit ugh at the ending. I need more!

I think @NSCat means one of the creatures who made herself look like the little girls granny. Yes, she did seem to fly, or hover at least to the 2nd floor window to trick the little girl into letting her in. I've not seen any of them doing more than walking slowly since then. Also in the first episode they did talk about how the creatures could change appearance, I think Julie saw someone she used to know as her and her DD family were going into colony house for the first time. I always wondered if they could do that why they didn't just make themselves look like one of the towns people and try and get in that way.

@Kate3150 I don't think Elgin is dead, just his eye has been taken. There are a few characters that Jade saw, also missing an eye (one of the soldiers and the guy drinking from the skull ) so I'm assuming Elgin is like Jade and Tabitha in that he's had past lives.

somehow the ending with Julie younger and with short hair was in the past maybe and tho he seems dead he isn’t

as she will change the chapters of the story

Glad I found this thread. I'm still on Ep 7, season 3 and was thinking of giving up. None of the characters seem very likeable and all so unreasonable. Why can't anyone have a conversation or answer a question without storming out, sweeping crockery onto the floor, smashing vital equipment whilst screaming 'no, no, leave me alone'?

What are they going to do when they've finally smashed everything useful in a tantrum?
