Glad I missed that. Hated his version of that Billy Eilish song last night. I just don't rate him.

I've just caught up and I didnt like it either. Most of what he sings these days is quite 'breathy' which is why I thought Let's Dance was a great choice on week 1 (as it wasn't all breathy or ballady which it's sort of been since)

I thought it was clear early on that this was a singer somewhat past his prime.

We saw Marti in panto a few years ago - his voice was amazing still 😍

I've also seen JD live, and he sounds nothing like Wolf.

I didn't like it but I still thought it much better than Billy Eilish singing it. She puts no effort whatsoever into her singing and just, to me, sounds awful

Oh, me too. I've actually only just remembered this. It was when I was a copper and he came to perform in my town (Whitley Bay ice rink if anyone knows it) I was there policing the event and manning the stage door as he arrived. He walked in and said "Christ, this is a shithole!"

Anyway, slight tangent but yeah I agree it sounds nowt like him.

Im baffled by some of the comments saying they don't know WWW songs. I thought it's cause I'm scottish and their Popped In Souled Out album was my teenage soundtrack, but I've just googled and they had 13 Top Ten hits, inc one of the longest ever number ones. So I'm back to being baffled at people not knowing them 😆

FYI, that album is genuinely incredible, from start to finish. If you don't know it, it's worth a listen.
Temptation is one of my all-time favourite songs. And the I Can Give You Everything cover is actually similar in style to how Take That would have done it

Has anyone guessed Courteney Cox for Pufferfish yet? I’m going purely on the pic of Gail Platt (Gale Weathers in Scream) and her turning on the light a few episodes ago (she turns off the light in the opening credits for Friends)

The clues in TMS are soooooo tenuous though that they often relate to something so completely obscure that I doubt they’d make it so obvious!

If CC could sing like that I'm sure we'd all know by now.

Like with JR trying to make the clues so it’s Mary Berry. Or when one of the panel guesses a crazy answer (Maya guessing Kimg Charles) has the silent reaction.

I reckon the celebs don’t see each other unmasked in the back. They see each other in their costumes and in those “don’t talk to me” hoodies/cloaks. So celebrities could have been standing next to their favourite singer etc

David Essex played at the dominion theatre as the Calvary man in 2016. Which happens to have the same clothing as Wolf...

They turned the mics off at points, so we the audience didn't hear all of the judges guesses. I'm assuming they still do the same so the audience may not have even heard Mary Berry etc.

I dont know who Wolf is, but my previous point stands- that each character has clues that will fit X amount of celebrities, and unless the voice gives it away, it could be any number of people until the reveal

Think there needs to be another thread for TMS as under 5 pages of this thread left.
