So this is now with Paddy McGuinness but as far as I can tell there are 3 episodes already, watching one now about Quavers

But unless Ive lost track of time, the thing with Greg was quite recent wasnt it, so did they already start to make episodes of this without Greg or did they just work really quickly and get Paddy McGuinness on board really quickly to do the programmes?

I was wondering this too.

The bits with Ruth were clearly filmed in the summer so I think Greg was already dropped. There had been a lot of rumours about him for some time.

Unless they re-shot footage with Paddy.

My understanding is he was dumped from this sooner than others as they reacted to complaints more quickly. I think!

Ah, it's on wiki. Yes, Greg left in 2023. This is the first series since then.

Gregg announced early last year that he was stepping down from presenting Inside the Factory, saying he needed more time to focus on his son Sid.

Gregg resigned from Inside the Factory last year, he said he just wanted to focus on Masterchef and spend more time with his family. Paddy was announced as the new presenter a long time ago.

They dropped Gregg after he visited Nestle and upset the workers with inappropriate comments about their weight. Well I think he decided to leave but evidently jumped before he was pushed…

I think a lot of complaints came from workers where he had filmed inside the factory. Didn't one place refuse to have him back for a 'revisited' or something?

So yeah his 'departure' from ITF was the start of the dominoes falling.

Does anyone else find it unhygienic that they sample things?

Was also wondering when Paddy joined the show because it would have been a quick turnaround otherwise. Thanks for the clarification

Imagine if they turned the giant sheet of quaver mix into one giant quaver. Crunchy.

Paddy and Cherry filmed 2 series back to back in 2023, they were on Radio 2 together recently.

I really like Paddy so I like it much better.

I couldn't watch previous series as can't stand the presenter-took a dislike way before any of the recent events. Will now be watching both that & Masterchef.

I thought Greg resigned some time ago to spend more time with his young son who has special needs.
