Celebrity Hunted - is it me?

I am watching tonight. The celebs being hunted are logging into Apple IDs, restaurants are sending email confirmations of lunch bookings, two appeared on live TV and another 2 at a podcast. I haven’t watched before but do they have to do these things to give the hunters a chance at finding them or are we supposed to think those being hunted are actually that stupid? I don’t quite get it. If someone was looking for me, I wouldn’t go online or appear on live TV.

I know the non-celebs have set tasks to do, including withdrawing money from an atm, so probably.

@Viceproactive , the first series (and best) featured Jay McGuiness and someone else from the Wanted, they lived outside for about 2 weeks and won the show, I think the producers stopped it after that.

100%. Every single one of them contacts somebody they know, who they know will be being watched. It ruins it for me 😂

It's replicating it isn't it, so there's decisions on what the hunters get. But also, yes they make them do traceable things.

I am sadly finding it increasingly unwatchable. Primarily due to the tone and language used by Hunted HQ - it’s vile. It totally jars with modern narratives.

I thought this last night, they don’t even pretend to go off grid anymore.
The first few series were much better.

Yes I was thinking this and wondered if it’s reflective of police culture.

We usually love Hunted and have often wondered if they have set tasks etc. But this series feels so fake and acted. Not watched last night yet but the first episode was rubbish. Hope they turn it around.

Also I don't know why they don't just be totally open about the "set tasks". I don't think it would diminish the show and lack of transparency just makes me wonder what else is fake
