Basically a carbon copy of POGDogs but at Dogs' Trust instead of Battersea and on U+W.

The BBC missed a massive trick not getting Pete instead of Alison Hammond to fill Paul's shoes, he's perfect for this.

I've never watched Essex whatever or strictly but I think he's coming across really well on this 🐶

I warn=med to him on Strictly but he was a little bit fish out of water.

He fits in on this brilliantly.

And such darling puppies, how can anyone resist.

I watched the first two episodes last night and absolutely loved it. I'd not heard of Pete Wicks before Strictly, but I do like his self-deprecating charm.

He was excellent in this setting, genuinely helping where he could and clearly with affection and the best interests of the dogs at heart.

It's a shame it's not on a more mainstream channel (though he was on The One Show last night plugging it, which is how I found out about it and went to watch). It's a well-made and lovely programme which deserves to be more widely seen.

I'm surprisingly fond of FDS. Pete looks like he's always on the verge of tears.
