I was very interested to watch this as have only just read the book. Overall I found it disappointing. In the book there is no attempt to portray Matt as being from an abusive background, and his parents are apparently still alive. He’s just an abusive manipulative gaslighting shit and this is shown to much better effect in the book. The concerned flatmate is not on the book either and neither is the very silly bit when Lisa starts to haunt Matt and wreak her revenge. And that email to all female staff. He left his phone on his desk and was out of the room art the time it was sent. I think it could have been proved he didn’t send it.
