The guy that was running the private company (hiring soldiers or something i think) had made a deal while out there that the soldiers wouldn't be killed. However during an attack at a market lots of women and children were gunned down around the soldiers. Including the son of the woman who came to uk looking for them to find out what had happened. Lomax was the only one left by the end. The other guy Duggan was killed at the end of the first episode.
Right at the end Lomax and the Company Guy (sorry can't remeber his name) were walking through the police station with shoestring boyd and Lomax just walked past and broke Company guys neck!

that makes no sense at all...maybe you'd be better to ask questions!

i suck at names but i will try to remember.
Turns out they had witnessed some bloke killing people in bazra, he was well known and they had been told not to deal with him but they leader made a deal.
The body in the woods was one of the army blokes who threatened to tell. The one that got shot was also going to tell.
The leader was the one who killed the man in the woods.
I suck at names.
It wasnt great this week

Oh and the one they thought had done it, the bloke whos son was killed, shot himself.

oh company guy killed the man in the woods in front of all the others. They had all gone after him on horse back but didnt realise that company guy was going to kill him

Bit more...

The leader (now head of the private security firm) in Iraq made a deal with one of Saddam's torturers who now wanted a part in the new Iraq government. The torturer would make sure there were no more ambushes of the leaders soldiers. In return, he got to have people killed who he had a previous grudge with. The woman you saw in ep one was wounded and her son was killed in that retribution, all in front of the bemused soldiers. She came to Britain to try to get the m to expose the deal. HTH
