Just finished watching it .
The last two series felt rushed ,,not thought through.
In one episode,there's a ghost in the barn ,it's her dead husband,and new husband has left to go to Canada.
Why bring in the teacher from the new state school and have her pouring beer in to her husband's car ...what was the point of that
And Judith now fancies Caroline as well as all the other younger women...come on ..get real...
It went down hill from the moment Caroline moved house and school .
And what was the point of Ted ,to die an episode later ,and no one noticed a child driving a car ..and really..a child can drive a car that well...
What on earth happened to such an excellent series, totally let down at the end .
Don't get me started on the giraffe..that would of needed scaffolding and couldn't of been done in the dark with out light to see what your painting

And what the hell happened to Gary?

The son from an affair
He was really clingy
Then just disappeared,not mentioned again.
I had to look him up to help me remember who he was

I read that they killed of floras mum ,to bring Catherine and celila back together

It was good ,but not as good as happy valley.
Happy valley was the best thing on TV
I like tango ,but I did sit there a bit picking holes in it

I think the writer ,just got fed up about two thirds on ,.
And I read she was writing gentleman jack at the same time

I've just finished watching the first series and have watched S2 ep 1. Celia was such a nasty bitch in that last episode, I'm struggling to get past it. And John is just a massive twat. Not sure I'll continue. Loved Happy Valley and Gentleman Jack.

I've not watched gentle man jack ,it didn't appeal.
Yes Celia is frequently a bitch
I read she was the reason they are not doing another series
It would work well without her ,just every one carries on their lives as it was a strong cast
