There’s 2 Christmas specials, so far. Is it the 2019 one? Mine isn’t showing the new one, just a trailer.

There's already been 2, this will be the third Christmas special.

What's happened so far OP? My guess is it's the 2019 one. Have you seen Dawn and Pete have a massive row over smoking?

The Finale episode being shown tomorrow is not shot over the Xmas period. So it’s the finale episode but not actually set at Xmas.

The 2019 special is set at Xmas in Barry.

The advert for it said it was available on iplayer from Christmas Day, does that mean it’s on iplayer in the morning or do we all have to wait until 9.00pm?

I would imagine it will be on iplayer as soon as it’s been aired and not before. Otherwise there will be people watching in the morning and social media would be full of spoilers which will ruin it for those who want to watch as it’s aired.

I listened to them on radio 2 and I'm sure they said they had to wait to record really late at night as it was summer time but set in winter.

Wasn't that referring to the marriage proposal in the street at the end of the last special?
