I agree Hope is the worst character. Apart from being annoying she seems styled to be as unattractive as possible and looks about 20 years older than Doc. Hard to believe he would have preferred her to the glam and accomplished Muriel.

Dd and I got halfway through episode 2 when I had to turn it off. So boring and cringe. I thought about googling to see what happens to Preacher, but then realised I didn’t care enough.

Hope was absolutely stunning in real life when she was younger - I googled the actress.

She always looks good on this show when she dresses up for an occasion but they style her in dowdy, unflattering clothes most of the time.
She is so annoying as a character though & overacts massively.

It is sooo cheesy and cringe worthy but....I still love it!!

Only on episode 2. Hope is annoying, Jack looks different and a bit less attractive, Brady is still crush worthy and the scenery...just wow!!

Is it filmed in the US or Canada? I've got a feeling that most of the actors are Canadian.

That is what I mean. They make her look terrible for no apparent reason.

A lot is filmed in Canada. I live in the vicinity, and yes it is indeed a stunning place 😁.

Personally I can’t stand the show, but my DH watches it and I dip in every now and then when I see a familiar location on screen so I can try to work out where it is exactly.

The exterior scenes of the bar/restaurant (Jack’s Place) are filmed at a very popular restaurant which has unfortunately become so over-popular after this show that we don’t bother going anymore.
