What makes Bad Sisters so good?

I am fussy with TV shows, take a lot to captivate me.

I bloody LOVE bad sisters and I was thinking why it is so good?

I think it is a combination of it being an unpredictable plot, mystery, comedy, all female cast, and approaches feminist issues.

I don’t think I’ve seen a show like it before, is there anything similar?

I've just started watching this and to be honest I'm not sure about it.
I was expecting it to be really funny(it wasnt) and the prick doesn't come across as really nasty just a bit cringe.
However I will probably carry on.
The first series of dead to me I think was better and similar to this in a way if you haven't seen?(I gave up on the third)

Series one of bad sisters was brilliant. Series 2 so far I’m not finding to be as good. Hoping it picks up in the last 2 episodes.

It’s the best thing I’ve seen in years… like you say, I think it’s the plot, the female driven narrative, the amazing performances, it’s funny, it’s dark… and I love their clothes especially Eva!

Keep watching to see how bad his behaviour gets!

I'm on episode 2 and he's gone beyond cringe. Thinking of not continuing as making me very uncomfortable

It has a British comedy drama vibe but with American budget style - the houses and outfits are amazing. And the scenery is beautiful, having the sea swim as part of a central part of the show was such a clever move. It all just LOOKS so good, as well as having a great script and characters.

I think it's a couple of episodes too long though.

I've just finished it.
LOVED it.
Here's why:
The dark haired women look like the women in my family.
The location is beautiful.
The sisters' bond is very familiar.
And all ends well. (Ish!)
I love everything Sharon Horgan does.
Really sad it's finished.
