Unfortunately I'm having to go to the aged parental units, who disapprove of such things, having avoided it for the last couple of years.. So it'll be card games with sisters, partners, the nieces, the parents and as much wine as I can shove down my throat without picking a fight. Fun times. Dp is dreading it as much as I am. I hate the duty that is Xmas.

I think Colleen has won as much as she needed or wanted to, from what she said. Vardy will probably rejoice, but she's still got legal bills to pay, I think, and when she was on she was a nasty bully, and Colleen showed herself to be a top lass, so i think she's done what she wanted to do, take some time for herself and prove to herself that she's a tough cookie and a good person.

He said the world is so nuts right now so it was great to have three weeks just watching the camp as an escape.

When she mentioned her sons being proud of her and doing something for herself, I think that resonated deeply with many of us mums.

Yer but then you see her house and grounds and the drive up leading to her house and think nah not really!!

Yeah you are right, but she still does come across as down to earth and in touch with her working class roots! And she has dedicated herself to Wayne and the boys, as a mother of boys it's bloody tough keeping them in toll!

Booooo! Mildly disappointed that the lovely Colleen didn't win. Danny grew on me towards the end but I am miffed yet another boy bander has won.

Thanks to all, this has been fun. I hadn't ventured over to telly addicts before but will hang around now. Particularly for my guilty pleasures that is Corrie and EE.

Did anyone else notice that before they announced the winner, Danny had his arm round Colleen with - cringe - his fingers crossed? So desperate. I didn’t want Colleen to win; never felt the love like everyone else. Thought she was stoic but dull and still very guarded. Plus, you know, she got paid 1.5 million quid. What the fuck? Really wanted the Rev for the win. Or Oti. I think the golden ticket did for her, though. Put people off voting as it all seemed a bit rigged. Even if it was just a random new idea.

Thought both Maura and GK looked so much older with all of their make up and fake tan back on. Prefer them both natural. What a shame young women feel the need to still do so much to themselves just to feel presentable. It adds so much time to your day, too. Or rather wastes so much time, all that getting ready malarkey.

Danny was always going to win - but anyone else notice he hardly did any trials - I think he maybe put himself up for one and then no more Oti/Richard/Colleen did more - Grace didn’t put herself up for any either

Glad Danny won, although wouldn’t have minded any of the final five winning. But for me the moment Danny woke up a bemused Barry wearing a giant pencil he won. It’s been a lovely series to watch, the first time I watched from beginning to end, and it was great that they all just got on, reminded me of bake off/very early big brother, no unnecessary nastiness or bullying, even Dean was basically ok (he had the odd moments). I watched some of the Matthew Wright series a few years ago, that was grim and the bullying seemed to continue after the show ended, I also have seen some old episodes online with Gillian McKeith and Shawn Ryder shouting “Fuck off” at each other, different world.

I thought they were both a great example of the powers of makeup. They are both plain Janes without (especially GK), and stunning with.
