Richard really is an interesting guy - and the most unlikely pop star ! I know he became a reverend years later..

When he was talking about coming out as gay and moving to London , it made me think that Small Town Boy was actually based on Jimmy Somervilles real life experience.

Young gay guy comes out, isn’t accepted by his father so runs away to London on the train to be who he wants.

It seems that Richard was lucky to
meet Jimmy who gave him his lucky break..

I was reading that Jim Bowen was 49 when he made Bullseye, the same age that Ant and Dec are now.

I met Jim once at an industry’do’. It was clear they were not expecting women to be there. I said (whilst waiting for a group photo where I expected to be front and centre) “ooh, Jim can you say super, smashing, great?”

He said “Fook off, you’re too young to know who I am.”

He was even younger but always looked like an old man. A 45 year old back then looks more like a 65 year old of today.

I really like Coleen and her quiet strength. However I do find it interesting that apart from Jane (which is really surprising) non of the other celebs have spoken much about her or rooting for her to win.

I don't hate Danny

But I think he's cocky and he thinks he will win as win the other contests

Did you see the look on his face when they said "it might be you" tonight? He was thinking like WTF this isn't in the script, before sussing it may be any of them.

Whats shit is he's been the favourite from before the show began as he fits the mould for winner just like Matt Willis then Dougie and Toms Godawful wife. Modern, trendy, cool late 30's dad with a shit tonne of issues to endear him to everyone watching with no brain cells.

Another thought on how people looked on 80s television, Cilla Black was the same age that I am now when Blind Date started.

Yes people looked their age back then. A grandma has grey hair and was plump. Nowadays grandmas are like 50 and fabulous.

I enjoy looking at the audience on Bullseye. So many old dears sitting there like Mrs Merton and they were probably only in their 60s!

Ironic how most people have enjoyed it for the camp mates being kind and supportive to each other, but it’s seemingly ok to be unkind in this thread.

I was on YouTube recently and somehow old episodes of Blind date come up on my suggestions!
I know I sound odd here ( and going off topic slightly) but when I watch the contestants on Blind Date and Bullseye I wonder what they’re doing now and what they must think watching themselves on tv all these years later..

I agree what others have said about Danny. I like him, but feel he thinks he’s got it in the bag and why should he have? How has he especially stood out, it would be dull if he won tbh. I also agree he was shocked when they said ‘It might be you’ which is odd…he must really rate himself, whereas the other’s don’t seem to, they’re more humble.
I think the other campmates seem to speak about her with a lot of respect, but she is more reserved than them and shy, which is fine. They’re all such big personalities and most people in *Real life are more normal like Colleen, i’d say! I’d much prefer her to win over Danny. They keep calling him a ‘Rock star’…I mean, come on 😂

We can mock those ridiculous turkey teef all we like. Deans were the most ridiculous. Tulisa's next, then Dannys then Mauras. Why on earth do they do it? Must be a reality show kinda thing.

Other people say like Calvin Harris had a lot of dental work done but looks awesome.

I’d prefer Rev to win over Danny too. It sounds like I don’t like Danny, I do! I just think it’s all too predictable and don’t see why he’s so special compared to others in there 🤷🏻‍♀️like, why would he be tipped to win from the start…why?

Interesting all 3 on the after part then said Colleen or Rev. Alan said he thought Danny would win, but he wanted Colleen to win. Gk said Rev, then Colleen, then Danny and the sporty lady (forgotten her name 🙈) said she wants Colleen. I feel like if it’s Danny it’s a fix maybe
