Yes I kind of agree. Whilst I recognise that Coleen certainly doesn’t need the win, she’s been the one who consistently has got on with everything. Quietly gone about mucking in and faced every trial with determination.

Yes I would like to see her more on TV. She's endearing and funny and quirky, and self deprecating too.

It really isn't, but do feel free to flounce.

He's with Fizz now, but they hit a rocky patch earlier in the year when the woman he left Fizz for (Alina) turned up again with a child who turned out to be Tyrone's. She and the child went back to Romania though. Alina was only over in the UK for the court case about people trafficking. (Alina left a couple of years ago, and Tyrone and Fizz got back together.)

The last storyline in Corrie I remember was Martin plat having an affair! Or maybe it was Gail… no; I think it was Martin. Scandalous anyway.

Vardy must be absolutely raging with how well Coleen is coming across. She seems to be grounded, level headed, together and determined. I didn’t have an opinion before, but have totally warmed to her.

That’s exactly what I think. I really would not have really had any interest in her before. But I do think fair play to how she’s handled this. Accepting her choice to go in for it anyway.

My take on Coleen is that she’s grown up a lot, isn’t into the whole wag scene of younger days, has four children and family is important to her.

What this show has demonstrated is that she’s quiet, not wanting to hog the limelight, is focused and determined. Actually quite unassuming in many ways. I thought there would be more “celebrity style” plumping up that others have done before with constant references to their perceived worth. But actually she’s only mentioned things when specifically asked.

I think she’ll get future gigs from this as she’s shown a lot of level headed attributes that will appeal.

On Unpacked yesterday they were showing clips of Lady C and it was absolutely awful the way she behaved and spoke to the rest of the camp. Joel and Sam were thanking their lucky stars she wasn't in their years.
