Possibly. I like GK Barry, a lot more than I thought I would. But she annoyed me a bit last night when she was going on about how everyone recognises her when she's out, and she went on about how they stop her in public and say 'hey it's you - GK Barry!' And how someone stopped her at her grandad's funeral and said 'oooh hello! You're GK Barry!'
I just find it hard to believe because A) I don't think she is very well known. Even my 20-something DD and several others I have spoken to around the same age haven't either. And no-one over 40 I know knows who she is. And she's got no discerning talent really. She's just a tiktokker I believe. And B) People generally don't stop famous people/people they recognise and say 'oh, heyyy it's you!' And I doubt anyone would do it at a funeral.
So I wasn't sure if I believed her, and there was a slight air of boastfulness in her attitude. So I find it hard to believe it happens to her tbh. I'm sure some people have heard of her, but I struggle to believe she constantly get recognised and stopped. I rarely hear actual famous people say people stop them to chat, and admire their existence!
Still like her, but that made me a bit
