Whizz, bad manners no one answering!

I always have to watch this on the Sky English channels as we get the insipid Postcode Lottery thing in Scotland.

Agreed with a lot of the points made. When you see on the news that a man gets knifed to death because he asks some low-life thug to stop throwing chips then I sometimes wonder what kind of deranged people are out there. And manners is part of it - bad manners show a lack of respect for yourself as well as everyone else. Or so I keep telling dts (6)!!

Sorry, to answer your question (how rude of me! )at dts school they have a pupil code of conduct which includes expected manners. They were being taught the please and thank yous from nursery.

Its called the Golden Rules, there is even a song! If dts were awake I'd copy it down because it is quite funny.

Yes we also have a set of Golden Rules at primary - unfortunately they all seem to go out of the window at secondary
