No,no I was just naming a record that wouldn't be well known and a bit different from her more known material.

Yes he was an absolute cunt.

She is and always was fabulous. Love that woman to bits. I was at uni in the 1980s. A friend and I had arranged to see the 1985 private dancer tour at Wembley. We had booked a coach trip to London. A few weeks before the event we received a letter to say the event had been cancelled. So we wrote to Tina to say that sadly we would no longer be able to see her. We received a call on our house landline to ask if we had received our money back. As Tina was worried had we received our money back. Yes we had, but we just didn't have tickets for the concert. Tina arranged through her PA for us to be able to pick up tickets at the box office at Wembley. Of course, we had to pay for them. Of course, they were not the best seats in the house, but we arranged our own travel to London and we went to see Tina. I saw her in concert many times after that. I've never forgotten her kindness. What a glorious woman RIP.

Always fabulous. I knew from the last major interview that she wasn't well. And of course she lost 2 of her children just before she died, so that would have been hard. But her husband what an amazing supporter. I hope he's doing OK.

It was her PA. But Tina cared enough to make sure that we were OK. Just wow. She loved the UK and Europe. And we loved her too. I saw her in concert several times and always the best she could do.

Thevelvelletes · 23/11/2024 04:36

Sorry I misread earlier but exactly she cared enough to arrange.😁

I unashamedly love Tina Turner.l, such an amazing role model for older women. In that concert shown on Friday, she was 70 - let that sink in ..... 70!
