Sky and netflix - help

Squashinthepinkcup · 21/11/2024 16:25

I have a netflix account, which I pay for.
I've just switched my internet to sky, which includes netflix.
I've signed into my netflix on the tv.
However, how does the account switch happen? Surely I can't just cancel the payment to netflix and they'll magically 'know' that sky is now paying for it.

There must be a step I'm missing.

Any ideas?

I think that you should cancel your Netflix account that you had before you joined sky. It's easy to do on the app.

You don't need to cancel, you'll just login and it'll know your account is through sky and you won't get charged. The only reason you'd need to cancel is if you created a new Netflix account or linked it up with your partner's instead for example.

If it's the same email address it should automatically update so no need to cancel

Thanks so much. It wasn't the same email but we worked it out!
