We've just watched S1, will wait till they've all dropped to watch S2.

Me too. You should try the books - the story is very different but just as good.

Not sure if there is another thread on this . I couldn't see one .

Those that have watched / watching the second series - how did you find it . I binged watched the first series and enjoyed . But I am finding the second series really boring and isn't holding my attention .

I made the mistake of reading the books, which are fantastic, immediately after the first series, as I was too impatient to wait to find out what happened. The books differ quite a bit from the TV series, which I then found annoying to watch. I still enjoyed season 2, but agree it felt a bit drawn out and also didn't explain certain things well. I would highly recommend the books though!

I was the same @imfae
Really enjoyed the first season, actually forgot a lot that had happened by the time the 2nd came around.
I preferred the sections with juliet in the 2nd silo more than the bits with everyone else back home.
Largely due to liking her character and the actress.
Overall found it boring and hard to follow but continued because watching with partner.

Glad I'm not the only one to find series 2 a bit dull. It all feels rather predictable and lacks the sense of oddness and surprise that I felt in series 1. The characters seem rather one-dimensional. I'm a couple of episodes from the end but not sure I'll finish - I've stopped caring what happens!

mondaytosunday · 17/02/2025 09:32

The first was like Snowpiercer underground. It was ok, not the best. Not sure I'd recommend it

imfae · 17/02/2025 14:30

@Couchpotato3
I am also a couple of episodes from the end and not sure if I can make it to the end either . I think there is a series 3 in the works .

ellebelli · 18/02/2025 09:37

Can anyone explain the ending for me?
I must admit to day dreaming whilst watching, plus wine so that's my excuse 😏

@ellebelli the ending is setting up season 3, in the books it runs this storyline alongside what we've seen in season 2. It goes back in time to explain why the silos were built in the first place.
